A Treatment Includes:
-Trot up and physical examination. This may also include the horse being lunged, spun in a tight circle and backed
-A full body examination to assess potential problems with any of the musculoskeletal system -Full treatment using; manual manipulation, myofascial release, stretching and massage -Kinesiology taping where required -Possible use of intrasound machine -Advice on exercise routines and remedial exercises that can be done at home to improve and maintain the horse's way of going. This may include ridden and ground based exercises- you will be given a sheet detailing these. Discounts are offered for groups of 3 or more horses (so a treatment could be as little as £40, depending on your area) so it is an ideal opportunity for yards to book horses to be treated together. It is also possible to bring your horse for a treatment at Arden Equine Pool and Rehabilitation Yard in Claverdon where it may be combined with swimming therapy. Holly will work alongside your Veterinary team to look after all of your horse's musculo skeletal needs. |
Holly will travel to treat horses, and covers Warwickshire and all surrounding counties. She is based in Stratford Upon Avon.

Arden Equine Pool and Rehabilitation Yard:
Horses may be brought to Arden Equine Pool for treatment as a one off (with or without a swim included), or as a resident where they will benefit from a regular therapy program alongside daily swims. The yard has excellent facilities and offers:
-140ft straight equine pool
-Solarium
-Horse walker
-50m x 25m all weather arena
-Lunge ring
-Spacious internal stables
Swimming can be used in conjunction with Spinal Therapy to; promote muscle tone and development, increase fitness, rehabilitate horses after injury through reduced strain on the back and joints, or just to freshen and relax a horse with a busy work routine.
