Holly is a McTimoney-Corley Equine Spinal Therapist working in Warwickshire and all surrounding counties. Both yard visits and clinics are available; at Arden Equine Pool and Rehabilitation Yard, Claverdon and now also Spring Paddocks Equine Veterinary Clinic, Bishops Itchington.
Holly is registered with RAMP (Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Professionals). Being registered with RAMP gives members of the public, vets and other paraprofessionals the peace of mind they need to refer safely their animals with confidence.
Spinal Therapy is a whole body therapy comprising of both manipulation techniques, and soft tissue/muscle release which, when used with veterinary approval, can alleviate a wide range of problems including:
-Flattening over jumps
-Reluctance to collect and maintain an outline
-Aggressive behaviour such as bucking
-Sensitivity to tack
-Post trauma injuries
Holly is a self employed Spinal Therapist, having qualified with a postgraduate McTimoney-Corley diploma in 2005, following on from an Equine Studies degree at Warwickshire College. As well as working for herself, Holly also works part time at an Equine Veterinary Surgeons.
Holly's experience in horse's came from working with a broad spectrum of animals, in most disciplines. Prior to qualifying she gained experience working with youngstock and competition horses. She has competed her own horses in all spheres but most enjoys Eventing and Dressage.
Her clients range from happy hackers and family pets to international competition horses of all disciplines!
PLEASE NOTE: It is necessary to obtain approval from your Veterinary Surgeon before your horse can be treated by any Spinal Therapist or Physiotherapist. Please contact your Surgery before booking an appointment to request permission, and ask that they note on your horse's records that they will be receiving a treatment.
